The short answer
The Self-Led Longevity Assessment is the full assessment protocol completed independently: a structured five-day assessment through TrueCoach where you gather your own movement, health, and fitness data, submit it, and Matt reviews everything and returns a personalised results report. There is no live coaching, the report is the product, and it is a one-off £99 purchase with no subscription.
It suits self-motivated professionals who want an objective, data-led picture of where their body is functioning, without committing to ongoing coaching. Over five days you film seven movement screens scored against the FMS protocol, record blood pressure at a local pharmacy, resting heart rate, and waist and hip measurements, and complete a cardiovascular fitness test, covering the same five domains as the in-person tier. Grip strength and the countermovement jump, which need equipment on site, are not included. You submit everything through a single form, and Matt returns a personalised twelve-slide results report within 48 hours, naming your primary limitation and a clear recommendation. The report is yours to keep, whether or not you go on to train from it. An optional 12-week programme, built from your results, is available separately afterwards.
The self-led assessment is for self-motivated people who want an objective baseline without ongoing coaching. This is ideal for you if you:

Verbatim reviews from clients Matt coaches at The Strength Coach, published on Google.
Matt has been a great coach over the past three+ years. He has been supportive from a fitness, strength and motivation perspective. My strength has improved significantly and he is always working on what we need to accomplish over the next few months.
I’ve had a fantastic experience training with Matt. He’s incredibly structured, highly knowledgeable, and brings a consistently positive, motivating approach to every session. Everything is clearly thought through and tailored, which has made a real difference.
Matt has been my PT for a couple of years now and I have made some great gains since then (lean muscle mass and strength has increased significantly and I am in my late 40s), which I attribute to Matt’s expert approach. My main focus is endurance running and so Matt ensures that everything we do has specificity to that.
I’m working with Matt remotely through his online coaching and the level of detail is excellent. The programme is clearly built around my ability and adjusted as I progress. Communication is consistent and I always know what I should be focusing on.

You gather your own data over five short days, submit it, and Matt turns it into a personalised report. The report is the product.
A welcome video from Matt explains the week ahead. On day two you film seven movement screens at home and upload them to TrueCoach, so your movement is scored properly rather than self-assessed.
Day three covers blood pressure at a local pharmacy, resting heart rate and your waist and hip measurements. Day four is a cardiovascular test: a 12-minute run and walk or a step test, whichever suits you.
You submit everything through a single online form. That is the end of your active involvement: from there Matt takes over the analysis and returns your personalised report within 48 hours.

FAQ
It is the full Longevity Assessment protocol, completed independently over five days through TrueCoach. You gather movement, health, and fitness data at home, submit it, and Matt reviews everything and returns a personalised results report. It suits self-motivated people who want a structured, data-led picture of where their body is without ongoing coaching.
The protocol covers the same five domains, but you self-administer the tests rather than being measured in person, and there is no live results review call. Grip strength and the countermovement jump, which need equipment on site, are not included. In return it is the most accessible way in, at a one-off £99.
Beyond your personalised report, no. The self-led tier is deliberately independent: Matt reviews your data and writes the report, but there is no messaging access or live call included. If you want direct access to Matt, the virtual or in-person tiers include it.
A heart rate monitor (wrist or chest strap), a tape measure, and a phone on a stand to film the movement screens. If you choose the step test on day four you will need a 30cm step or firm equivalent. You will also need access to a pharmacy for a blood pressure reading on day three.
A separate £149 purchase made after you have read your report. It is a structured 12-week plan delivered through TrueCoach and built around your assessment results, which you follow independently. The assessment and the programme are always bought separately: they are never sold as a bundle.
Self-motivated professionals who want an objective, data-led baseline and a clear recommendation, and are happy to train independently from a structured plan without ongoing coach contact. If you would value hands-on coaching or weekly accountability, the 1-2-1, online, or virtual pathways are a better fit.
